Dimitris Fourlis is an actor and creator based in Athens.

     He is a distinguished graduate of the Theatre Department of the School of Fine Arts at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During his studies, he participated in international events such as the Festival Relations at Muenchner Kammerspiele, where he attended workshops and took part in projects under the guidance of artists like Lola Arias (Argentina), Tiit Ojasoo (Estonia), Lotte van den Berg (Netherlands), Gundars Abolins (Latvia), Steven Van Watermeulen (Netherlands), and Fumigo Ikeda (Japan/Belgium).

    Since 2014, he has collaborated with directors such as Thomas Moschopoulos, Nikos Karathanos, Yannis Kakleas, Takis Tzamargias, Glykeria Kalaitzi, Nikaiti Kontouri, Eleni Efthimiou, Damianos Konstantinidis, Phoebus Symeonidis, Efthimis Christou, and Themis Theocharoglou. In 2023, at the Athens and Epidaurus Festival, he portrayed Ion in Christos Chomenidis’ adaptation of Euripides’ Ion at the Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus.                       

   He has worked with institutions such as the National Theatre of Greece, the National Theatre of Northern Greece, the Onassis Stegi, and the Greek National Opera.

   In parallel, he has also worked as a theatre educator (camp counsellor) in Switzerland (2022) and France (2024).
